One evening after a backyard volleyball game a few friends had an idea that became a reality...

Volley for Mitchell started with the thought of helping Steve and Sandy Peterson, founders of Mitchell's Run thru Rockford, raise even more money to help Parent Project MD lead the fight to end Duchenne, a disorder their son Mitchell lives with.

The 4 on 4 sand volleyball tournament is now in its 7th year and has raised over $60,000 in support of Duchenne muscular dystrophy research. Players of all ages and levels compete in seperate age brackets. A full day of fun for families and friends!

Adults - start in the AM @ Score Restaurant

Rally Scoring - point on every volley
First to 15, best 2 out of 3 games win match
COED TEAMS for 18+ yrs, min 1 girl per team
All girl teams welcome
Under 18 all male teams welcome
